UPDATE: Paige Turco (“Person of Interest’) has been cast as the wife of Agent Pride, played by Scott Bakula. According to The Hollywood Reporter, if CBS moves ahead with the show, Turco’s role will be recurring.
The NCIS: New Orleans spinoff is staffing up, with CCH Pounder (The Shield, Sons of Anarchy) and former JAG star Zoe McLellan joining just-cast Scott Bakula in the potential new series.
NCIS: New Orleans will debut later this season as a two-episode “backdoor pilot”; on NCIS, introducing the team at the New Orleans-based field office as they investigate military-themed crime amidst the vibrant backdrop of the Crescent City.
No official air dates for the two introductory episodes have yet to be announced. If NCIS: New Orleans earns a pickup order, the series will air on CBS in the fall. NCIS exec producer Gary Glasberg and star Mark Harmon will be exec producers of the spinoff.
