There’s no rest for Rihanna in 2014. Variety has confirmed the never-not-busy pop superstar will release a concept album based on the animated DreamWorks movie Home.
Riri will also lend her voice to one of the characters in the film, which is set for release on November 26. The premise: an alien race, led by Captain Smek, invades Earth to hide from its mortal enemies.
Home also stars Steve Martin, Jennifer Lopez, and The Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons. Not a bad cast, we dare say!
Although few beans have been spilled about the upcoming album, DreamWorks says Rihanna’s songs will directly tie into the movie’s themes and storylines. Alas, that’s all we know at the moment. There are currently no song titles to share, or even a release date for that matter. Stay tuned!
