If Dancing With the Stars contestants Candace Cameron-Bure and Danica McKellar seem extra-competitive toward each other, we now know why: back in the 1990s, both women once dated the same guy — former Growing Pains star Jeremy Miller.
On last night’s DWtS season premiere, Candace talked about being in the long-ago love triangle with Danica after Jeremy ditched her to date Danica.
“I remember the phone call I got from Jeremy Miller saying, “Um, we’re breaking up, because I have a new girlfriend — and her name is Danica,'”; Candace said. Later in the show, Candace admitted, “I got dumped, because he wanted to go out with Danica!”;
Candace isn’t holding a grudge, however; Danica and Jeremy split soon afterward, and Candace has been married to Russian hockey player Valeri Bure for nearly 20 years.
