In a split vote that divided the Big Brother Canada house, last night saw housegest Paul Jackson evicted after a 6-4 vote.
“I’m too old for this,” the 43-year-old motivational speaker told host Arissa Cox after his ouster. “I knew coming in I would have to change up my game depending on the people in the house.”;
As he admitted, his strategy of constantly changing strategies didn’t work out as well as he’d hoped. “The nice guy just didn’t work so I switched to the villain and that didn’t work either,”; Paul explained, “so I tried to switch back and I guess it was too late. Trying to keep up with these young cats was hard.”;
In an interview with ET Canada“s Roz Weston, Paul reveals the truth behind his eviction: “Somebody flipped on me,”; he says. “That’s really what happened.”;
After Roz questions Paul’s flip-flop strategy, Paul admits, “I really went in thinking I’m going to look at every situation as it came and try to adapt to it.”;
Roz also asks Paul if he still thinks it was a good idea to call fellow houseguest Andrew a “racist.”;
“Maybe the title was a little strong,”; admits Paul, “but I think Andrew needs to be careful about what he says when millions of people are watching.”;
