Ellen Page is currently in talks to star alongside Emile Hirsch as John Belushi’s Wife, Judith Jacklin, in an upcoming biopic about the late comedian, actor and musician, TheWrap reports.
The film, directed by Steve Conrad, will tell Belushi’s tumultuous life story, from his rise to fame as a comedian, to his fatal overdose of a cocaine and heroin in 1982 at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
In joining the cast, this would mark Page’s first role since coming out as lesbian last month at the Human Rights Campaign’s THRIVE conference.
Saturday, Page fired back via Twitter at a pastor who sent the actress an anti-gay message. She cheekily responsed to his message by tweeting “2 da Pastor who wrote me-Being gay isn’t a belief. My soul isnt struggling& I don’t want arms of Heavenly Father around me.A girls arms? Yes.”; Go Ellen!
