Two Illinois concert-goers are suing Beyonce after an incident that left the pair trampled by a mob of fans scrambling to get prime position for the singer’s December show in Chicago.
According to a report from CBS Chicago, Raquel Castellanos and Gabriella Davidson have filed a lawsuit against Live Nation, the United Center and Beyonce. The pair say they were trampled, knocked unconscious and left with broken bones after the gates opened at the venue for general admission ticket holders.
Castellanos and Davidson claim the venue wasn’t safe or spacious enough to accommodate that massive rush of people and that all three parties were negligent when it came to providing a safe environment.
The pair are seeking an undisclosed amount in damages.
Beyonce’s gargantuan Mrs. Carter Show World Tour finally came to a close last week in Lisbon, Portugal.
