Get ready for an SCTV reunion and a visit from a Kid in the Hall when this week’s Working the Engels welcomes guest stars Eugene Levy and Scott Thompson.
Eugene Levy famously costarred with Engels” star Andrea Martin in groundbreaking Canadian sketch-comedy series SCTV, while Scott Thompson blazed trails as a member of The Kids in the Hall.
In the episode of the made-in-Canada sitcom hit, Levy plays a lawyer/neighbour who offers Jenna (Kacey Rohl) a wealthy new client, played by Thompson; unfortunately, the client turns out to be a huge pain in the neck. Meanwhile, Ceil (Andrea Martin) and Sandy (Azura Skye) try to launch a dessert company, and Jimmy (Benjamin Arthur) hooks up with a wacky neighbour, played by Eugene Levy’s daughter, Sarah Levy.
Working the Engels airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Global.
