Jimmy Kimmel is a man of his word, and proved it on Sunday by keeping a promise to visit Rob Ford’s online talk show Ford Nation.
After previously promising to appear on the the Internet show hosted by the Toronto mayor and brother Doug Ford, Kimmel honoured his commitment (via Skype) and made a short appearance on the five-minute episode, decked out in the same black-shirt-and-red-tie “magician’s outfit”; Ford wore when he visited Jimmy Kimmel Live.
After showing off his Rob Ford bobble-heads (“They’re selling them, for, like $900″ on ebay, said Kimmel. “I’m not kidding.”;), Kimmel answered a few dippy questions from Doug Ford, but also got in plenty of jokes at the scandal-prone mayor’s expense.
The funniest moment, oddly enough, came from Rob Ford while Jimmy was discussing his infamous first-ever JKL broadcast, in which his idea to give booze to the studio audience turned into a drunken debacle. After Jimmy admitted he was “so drunk I don’t know what happened that night,”; a chuckling Ford responded, “I’ve used that excuse one too many times myself.”;
