Any hope of reconciliation between the erstwhile king and queen of sitcoms (and the couple everyone wanted at their cocktail parties) faded today when The Millers” Will Arnett filed for divorce from Parks And Recreation star and Golden Globe hostess par excellence Amy Poehler.
While the divorce may raise few eyebrows, the timing of the legal procedure should, as it falls approximately 19 months after the couple had already split — albeit amicably in September 2012. It also follows in the footsteps of relationships for both Arnett — linked with both chef Katie Lee and producer Erin David — and Poehler, who has been dating comedian Nick Kroll since May of last year.
Arnett, 43, is seeking joint legal and physical custody of the pair’s two young sons: Archie, 5, and Abel, 3, as well as visitation rights.
