Arcade Fire brought along a few special guests to help them close up shop at Coachella on Sunday night.
The Canadian indie titans once again played the Indio festival’s Sunday headline slot and had festivalgoers in a tizzy when they trotted out a knock-off version of Daft Punk as a bit of a gag. The two unidentified impostors arrived on the main stage to play a slowed down version of “Get Lucky”; before frontman Win Butler intervened. We have video of the psych out below. (A very real) Beck also appeared as a special Sunday night guest of Arcade Fire. The “Sexx Laws”; artist was decked out in the same Pope Francis bobblehead garb that Aaron Paul donned at last weekend’s Coachella gig. Beck was on hand to provide vocals for Arcade Fire’s cover of Prince’s “Controversy.”;
