Since it was first announced that Disney had purchased Lucasfilm for $4 billion and had greenlit a new Star Wars trilogy, 99 per cent of all activity on the Internet has been devoted to speculating on which actors will star in the new movies.

Today, that speculation must now come to an end: Disney has officially revealed the full cast of Star Wars: Episode VII.

The movie will star John Boyega (Attack the Block), Daisy Ridley (Silent Witness), Adam Driver (Girls), Oscar Isaac (Inside Llewyn Davis), Andy Serkis (Rise of the Planet of the Apes), Domhnall Gleeson (About Time), and Max von Sydow (The Exorcist). They will be joined by the stars of the original trilogy Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker.

“We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII,”; said director J.J. Abrams. “It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again. We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud.”;

Star Wars: Episode VII hits theatres December 18, 2015.
