Yahoo and Live Nation have announced plans to team up for a project that will have live music fans salivating.
The two companies have a deal in place to livestream a concert a day for an entire year. In addition to providing a live feed from these gigs, 1,200 songs from those shows will be kept for on-demand viewing.
“Sixty million people attended our 23,000 Live Nation concerts last year alone,” offered Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino. “The Live Nation Channel on Yahoo will build on this scale and become a great, new destination for music fans.”
There were no specifics provided on who will play these gigs, so we recommend that you fantasy book your ideal livestream schedule in the comments.
