According to a report in Britain’s The Telegraph, tension between “Top Gear” co-hosts Matt LeBlanc and Chris Evans have grown to the point that the former “Friends” star is threatening to quit the British TV car series if Evans isn’t axed.
LeBlanc, claim sources, is “said to be concerned about Evans’s rudeness towards other members of the team, with some suggesting he also is frustrating to film with.”
Rumours have been rampant of behind-the-scenes friction on the BBC’s revamp of the wildly popular show after original presenter Jeremy Clarkson was fired, taking his team with him to create their own car-themed series to stream on Amazon.

The Sun reports that a source claims: “The team does not gel at all, and the atmosphere between the presenters is decidedly frosty. It’s very much a picture of him – Chris – and them.”
The source adds: “Matt has already indicated that he won’t continue on any further series if Chris remains a part of it. And he is far from the only one who isn’t happy.”

A BBC spokesperson and a rep for Evans declined to comment, reports The Sun, while a rep for LeBlanc said: “Nothing has been discussed or decided.”
