Steven Tyler is currently on tour to support his new solo album, but the Aerosmith front man revealed during an interview on “The Howard Stern Show” that the iconic rock band would be hitting the road for one more tour — which will be their last.
“I love this band, I really do, and I want to squash every thought that anybody might have about this,” said Tyler during his telephone interview with Stern. “We’re doing a farewell tour, but only because it’s time. We’ve never done that.”

Stern seemed stunned to hear that Aerosmith would be packing it in after one more tour, which Tyler said would take place next year.
“An Aerosmith tour, like we’re gone for good? Does [Aerosmith guitarist] Joe [Perry] know about it?” asked Stern, with Tyler replying: “Mmm hmm.”
How long will the tour last, asked Stern sidekick Robin Quivers.
“Probably forever,” joked Tyler.
