Zane was discussing his latest series “Guilt” on “Today” when he brought up his idea for an alternate ending to the all-time classic film. Zane suggested that his character Cal Hockley “found redemption” by the end of the movie and was really just “misunderstood.”

After all, nothing screams misunderstanding like slapping a woman across the face.
