The lawsuit accuses Brown and the nightclub for failing to provide adequate security and allowing at least one armed person into the venue during the party.
Knight survived gunshot wounds to the abdomen, chest and left forearm. He has cited complications from those injuries, including a blood clot. No dollar amount is listed in the lawsuit, but it asks for the defendants to pay all past and future medical expenses for Knightâs injuries.
The Death Row Records co-founder is currently facing a murder trial after running down two men and killing one of them. His attorney says fear stemming from the 2014 shooting led to Knight fleeing in his car after he was attacked and running down the two men.
