UPADTE: The Cure Joins The 2014 Riot Fest & Expo Line-Up

UPDATE:  Riot Fest has just announced the Cure will join its line-up at Toronto’s Downsview Park (September 6 & 7).  Formed nearly 40 (!) years ago, the legendary UK band has released 15 studio albums over its storied career. Many critics have dubbed the musical outfit — led by frontman Robert Smith — the most influential alternative act of all time.

Riot Fest & Expo is returning at summer’s end for a third year with one heck of an awesome line-up.

To top off a weekend spent within earshot of Canada’s most exciting bands, with music from the likes of Metric, City and Colour, Tokyo Police Club, The New Pornographers and Billy Talent (to name but a few), there will also be craft food and drink, a full carnival atmosphere, and a brand new venue right at the heart of Toronto’s action (kinda): Downsview Park.
