SPOILER ALERT: If you STILL haven’t watched Sunday’s “Game of Thrones” season finale and witnessed the shocking revelation those who watched already know, then stop reading now lest the biggest shocker in Westeros be inadvertently spilled.
If you’re still reading, then you witnessed trainee Three-Eyed Raven Brandon Stark witness a revelatory moment from the past that revealed Jon Snow is actually not the bastard son of Ned Stark, but the offspring of Ned’s deceased sister, Lyanna, and Prince Rhaegar Targaryen, son of the Mad King and late brother of Khaleesi herself, Daenerys Targaryen.
If you’ve been paying attention, you recognize the significance of this secret: Jon Snow has a greater claim on the Iron Throne of Westeros than his aunt Daenerys does. One little problem; neither Jon nor Dany knows this as he musters his forces to take on the Night King and the White Walkers and she sails her armada to Westeros.
