The romance between Kevin McKidd and his wife of nearly 17 years has come to an end, TMZ reports.
The “Grey’s Anatomy” star’s partner, Jane McKidd, has filed for divorce, a few weeks shy of their 17th anniversary.
“Kevin and Jane have jointly decided to end their marriage. They look forward to continuing to co-parent their children, who have been their top priority, and will to continue to enjoy a close and caring relationship,” a statement obtained by People read.

His partner has reportedly asked for “join custody of their teenage kids” and is looking to receive spousal support.
The couple tied the knot in 1999 and welcome three children together, Joseph, 16, and Iona, 14. According to TMZ, Kevin and Jane have been separated since October.
