A recent interview between Anna Kendrick and Net A Porter revealed that the actress is not only open to starring in a superhero franchise, she also has a character in mind.

“My brother sent me a Squirrel Girl comic because he thinks I should [play her],” she told the website. “I don’t know what Squirrel Girl does other than be half squirrel, but I could be half squirrel!”

Marvel’s mutant superhero character is well-known for her incredible strength, speed, reflexes, and of course, her ability to communicate with squirrels.

After news of Kendrick’s career aspirations spread online, fans of the actress rallied behind her cause on Twitter. “I don’t even know who Squirrel Girl is but based only on her name, yes, it should be @AnnaKendrick47,” Scott Weinberg wrote.

User BossLogic even went as far as drawing up a poster for Kendrick’s would-be furry character.

While Marvel producers ponder Kendricks Squirrel Girl role, watch the official trailer of the animated film “Trolls”, featuring the voices of Justin Timberlake and Kendrick, in an exciting and colourful adventure.
