Joan Smalls threw some serious shade at Maxim after the magazine mistakenly identified her in a photo, confusing her for Brazilian model Lais Ribeiro.
The magazine printed an image of Victoria Secret Angel Ribiero, but identified the 25-year-old model as Smalls in the caption.
Puerto Rican model Smalls was flipping through the latest issue of Maxim at the airport when she caught the mislabelled photo of Ribiero. “Get your s–t together,” she posted to her Snapchat account in a now-expired snap.
The 27-year-old Smalls has been on the fashion scene for sometime, appearing in countless runway shows and print ads, including a stint as a Victoria’s Secret Angel.
Smalls Snap takedown of Maxim didn’t end there. The model found a photo of herself in the same issue of the magazine – this time properly identified – and snapped back with, “That’s me as well. Might want to check that photo credit, just saying.”
