Gwyneth Paltrow is bringing recognition to a Newfoundland inn.
The Oscar-winning actress shared photos to her Instagram page this past weekend, relaxing at the Fogo Island Inn, a luxe x-shaped hotel situated on stilts atop jagged rocks, overlooking the icy water.
Fogo Island, a remote spot noted for its local seafood, art and culture, started trending on Twitter when Paltrow shared a photo of the hotel with the hashtag “heaven” to Instagram, which garnered over 27,000 likes as of Monday.
The actress also shared a brief video of a fire burning near the water’s edge with the hashtag, “End of the earth”.
The inn, which previously boasted Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his family over the Easter holiday last March, is located north of Gander and east of Twillingate, renowned for its iceberg watching. It was founded by multimillionaire and Fogo Island-born, Zita Cobb.
