Miles Teller turned heads Wednesday night when he debuted his new ‘do.
The 29-year-old actor rocked a bright blonde dye job, with lightened eyebrows to match, to the EPSYs in Los Angeles on Wednesday, and the Internet couldn’t believe how different the Whiplash star looked from his last public appearance.
Some fans thought the new style suited him.
But he couldn’t avoid the inescapable hate-machine that is Twitter. Many users tore the actor apart for the new look.
While others just seemed to have a deep-seated dislike for Teller as a person, regardless of his hair color (although they also didn’t like it).

While this might have been the first time Teller has shown off his blonde locks in public, the change didn’t just happen. In fact, the actor’s girlfriend, model Keleigh Sperry, posted shared a PDA-filled selfie to Instagram three weeks ago, in which he’s already rocking the light ‘do.

It’s unclear if his new hairstyle is for a role, or was just a personal choice, but either way it seems it’s going to take a while for some of his fans (and his angry haters) to adjust to the change.
