Katy Perry is working on her fourth studio album, which has yet to set a release date, and tonight gifted fans with a big surprise with the stealth release of the album’s first single, titled “Rise”.
Perry revealed the new track on Twitter, writing, “TOGETHER WE #RISE,” alongside a link to the iTunes download.
“When you think the final end is near; think again,” Perry sings in the catchy new track, reportedly produced by Swedish hitmaker Max Martin, who’s produced such hits as The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” and Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. “Don’t be surprised, I will still rise.”
You can head over to iTunes and give “Rise” a listen right now.
