Jann Arden knows her way around a cover or two.
The Juno-approved songstress has always wowed listeners with her ability to tackle another artist’s classic tune and make it her own, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Jann has recently knocked out her own rendition of an Anne Murray standard. What should come as a surprise is that the “You Love Me Back”; singer chose to cover the song via rapping.
That’s right, Jann Arden played the role of amateur MC when she offered up her take on Anne Murray’s “Snowbird”; in a video performance for The Huffington Post. Jann’s style is a bit more slam poet than rapper, which gives this wild rendition an extra bit of agreeable silliness.
