Nothing is ever as it seems in the “Big Brother” house!

Although Tiffany Rousso appeared to be the target, it was 26-year-old Bronte D’Acquisto who was sent packing after the latest eviction. The Denver, CO native was put on the block thanks to the Roadkill Competition, and even though it was Bridgette Dunning – the current HOH and one of Bronte’s allies in the house – who won the Power Of Veto, D’Acquisto still wound up on the outside.

And yet, D’Acquisto doesn’t seem to be bitter. “By no means do I blame Bridgette,” she tells ET Canada. “Bridgette, Natalie and I came to the decision to not give me the veto, together. I was told by James that I was safe, so I figured why stress Natalie [Negrotti] out, since she would’ve been the one to replace me?”

Of course, it was the Roadkill Competition that jeopardized D’Acquisto’s fate to begin with. As for why fellow houseguest Frank Eudy nominated her through the new twist to begin with, D’Acquisto is a bit less certain. “Honestly, I can’t tell you why,” she says. “If I see him next week, I’ll ask him, but I’m sure it’s a decision he’s regretting.”

Indeed, she may have her chance to get the other side of the story, thanks to the other big twist of the season: the Battle Back Competition. “I would absolutely love to return to the house,” she declares. “And if I get there, I will be talking game with every houseguest, not just some.”
