Actress Jane Lynch and reality television star EJ Johnson talk coming out on Wednesday night’s episode of Chelsea Handler’s new Netflix talk show series, “Chelsea”.
In a preview for the episode, Lynch opens up about proudly being single and using her platform to support the LGBTQ community. “It’s a way of being. It’s just who you love, really,” Lynch says to Handler.

When it comes to her own love life, however, the comedian and game show host jokes she’s “closed for business.” She says, “I love being alone, and I think that’s how I always should have been. Alone and unattached.”
Later in the episode, Lynch is joined by “Rich Kids Of Beverly Hills” star Johnson – also the son of Magic Johnson – who weighs in on his experience coming out as gay. He says, “I just think it’s all about timing. I don’t really think that I was lying, and I hope no one feels like I lied to them. Everyone needs their time, and when you’re ready, you’re ready, but you can’t rush it.”

Johnson, who also stars in the upcoming reality series “EJNYC”, adds, “I just want to get to the place where everyone is just coming onto a red carpet with a man one day, a woman the next, and it’s not a problem.”
