Nicollette Sheridan has just filed for divorce, reports TMZ, pointing out that the former “Desperate Housewives” star and husband Aaron Phypers are pulling the plug after six months — even though nobody knew the couple had actually gotten married.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the pair have been separated for a month.

“Rumours swirled they had been mulling over marriage … but there was never a clue they tied the knot,” reports TMZ, adding that Sheridan has asked the judge to reject any claim for spousal support that Phypers might make.
There were no children from the short union since, as TMZ helpfully points out, “the marriage didn’t last long enough for a proper gestation period.”
