Having collapsed onstage during a concert after reportedly going into cardiac arrest, Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry is apparently not in as dire condition as some had feared.
In fact, according to a tweet from his Hollywood Vampires band mate Alice Cooper, Perry has bounced back from his health scare and will be rejoining the band on their tour, with his first day back in the saddle to be tomorrow.
As Cooper notes in his tweet, Perry will continue through to the end of the tour.

While early reports claimed that Perry collapsed after suffering an apparent heart attack, the precise nature of his illness hasn’t officially been revealed. Footage from the concert shows Perry staggering off stage, with Cooper telling fans at the show that Perry had been “very sick” before the show.
The rumour mill went into overdrive when a tweet from Perry’s Twitter account announced he was “stable” and “under the best care,” while Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler admitted he was “really concerned” about Perry’s health. Tyler also claimed he had contacted Perry’s people, but hadn’t received a response.

However, a new report on the Blabbermouth website claims that sources close to Perry claim it was dehydration and exhaustion that led to his collapse and subsequent hospitalization.
“I know how to maintain my career, my health, and Joe’s passionate,” Tyler told Billboard. “I don’t think he knows how to. I think he’s out there and someone’s overbooking him. They’re doing like eight or nine shows in a row, or five in a row. I think they’re all a little burnt. I think they may need to look at that. Not young anymore, y’know?”
