While her messy divorce from Johnny Depp continues to make headlines, Amber Heard is seeking distraction — and perhaps a shoulder to cry on — with pal Elon Musk, billionaire inventor of the Tesla electric car.
According to TMZ, Heard and her sister were recently spotted “hanging out” with Musk at his hotel bungalow in Miami. “We’re told she had a one-on-one dinner at his L.A. house two weeks ago,” notes TMZ, adding: “We’re told she recently went to Elon’s L.A. area office to spend time with him. And we’re told he’s paid several visits to her home.”

So are they dating? That isn’t a word that Heard’s camp is using at the moment.
A source who was at the hotel Delano South Beach, meanwhile, insists that Musk and Heard are simply friends. “[They] are friends and have been for a few years,” the source reveals to People. “Their work schedules overlapped in Florida over the weekend – Elon was there for the SpaceX launch and Amber was there with her sister for a shoot.”
Interestingly enough, Musk is likewise in the midst of a divorce from wife Talulah, whom he previously divorced and subsequently remarried.
