Geriatric headbanger John Hetlinger has been on a roll, blowing away the judges on “America’s Got Talent” with his heavy-metal covers and even joining metal band Drowning Pool onstage during a recent Chicago gig.
During last night’s “Judge’s Cuts” edition of “AGT”, the 82-year-old singer delivered a new cover: “Dragula”, from White Zombie front man (and horror movie director) Rob Zombie.
“I’ve had a lot of exciting things in my many years,” Hetlinger told the judges of potentially winning this season of “AGT”, “but this would be top of the list.”
Unfortunately, Hetlinger did not make the cut, and won’t be going through to the next round, although you can’t fault his enthusiasm. Watch:
