Addressing the media and crowd in Vancouver, she said, “The bottom line is that fish farms in the oceans are polluting the oceans. Please take this into your own hands and simply say no to farmed salmon.”

The event was organized by controversial marine conversation organization the Sea Shepard Society, which also released a PSA for their campaign featuring the former “Baywatch” star. In the video, Anderson further urges consumers to not purchase farmed salmon.
