The first half of the season saw Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) defeated after an attempted siege of Paris led to his exile. Now, he returns home years after disappearing, challenging his now-grown sons to kill him if they wish to take the throne. It’s a challenge Ragnar’s eldest son Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) is ready to accept. With both sides readying for battle, the just-released “Vikings” trailer promises the most-epic showdown yet.
The second part of season 4 will air on History this fall.
