Martine Forget And Jonathan Bernier Wed In Elegant Montreal Ceremony

After five years of engagement, Anaheim Duck Jonathan Bernier and model Martine Forget celebrated their union in an elegant ceremony at Montreal’s the Windsor Ballroom over the weekend.

Hours prior, Forget and her bridesmaids gathered at the Hotel Le Crystal and slipped into pink and rose-printed kimonos, preparing the bride for one of the biggest days of her life.

Forget looked picture-perfect in a lace Pronovias gown that featured a mermaid skirt, an open back and jewelled embellishments. Bernier and the couple’s nearly two-year-old son Tyler, meanwhile, were just as chic in classic black tuxedos and bow-ties.

Instagram footage from the wedding shows the newly-married couple taking to the dance floor for a romantic dance as Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” played.

Friends and family of the newlyweds seemingly partied well into the early hours of Sunday morning, with Forget sharing a photo of herself taking a late-night breather with her breathtaking gown padding her nap. “About last night …..around 5am,” she captioned the photo.

Only ET Canada was on the scene at the Chic Punta Cana resort as the then soon-to-be husband and wife dished on their big day. “It makes me realize that [the wedding] is coming. It makes me excited,” Forget gushed.
