There’s still hope for those looking to get their hands on the Playboy Mansion.

According to TMZ, a deal between 32-year-old buyer Daren Metropoulos, the “son a billionaire businessman,” has fallen through because Hugh Hefner wanted more privacy.

Metropoulos, who is known for reviving lacklustre brands such as Ghirardelli and Bumble Bee Tuna, demanded access to the mansion that would disrupt Hefner’s life.

The breaking point in the deal reportedly occurred when Metropoulos was required to wait until Hefner passed away for the branding genius to begin renovating and building additions onto the property.

TMZ was told that after weeks of haggling and sending several versions of the final agreement back and forth, Metropolous’ long list of demands crossed the line with Hefner.

The Playboy Mansion is heading back on the market on Monday.
