NEWS: Leslie Jones’ Olympic Fever Is Absolutely Out of Control
The “Ghostbusters” actress shared her unwavering excitement on Twitter, announcing that she was heading to the Olympics.
Jones’ road to Rio began when Mike Shoemaker, an Emmy-award winner producer who has worked on NBC shows like “Saturday Night Live” and “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon”, brought her to the attention of NBC Olympics’ executive producer, Jim Bell, who was quickly won over by the “Ghostbusters” star.
“@shoemakermike OK @Lesdoggg you’re officially invited to Rio. Want to come?” Bell tweeted, to which Jones replied, “@jfb @shoemakermike hmmmm don’t play cause y’all need me! I would have the whole Olympics pumped!!”
We’ll take either. America!
