A Santa Monica judge has issued a bench warrant for Tyga’s arrest after the rapper failed to appear in court.
Kylie Jenner’s on-again, off-again boyfriend was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday after failing to pay his former landlord a $480,000 judgment for missing rent and trashing his rental Malibu home, TMZ reports.

According to court documents tracing back to 2011, Tyga, whose real name is Michael Ray Stevenson, rented a Malibu mansion overlooking the Pacific Ocean for $16,000 a month, but allegedly missed a monthly rental payment and broke his lease early.
Court papers also report that the rapper outfitted the master bedroom with a stripper pole, disconnected the home’s intercom, and left visible damages to the hardwood floors, gate opener, and glass-tiled shower.

Attorneys for the landlord, who appeared in court on Tuesday, questioned where the rapper was hiding his assets after noticing he bought Jenner a $200,000 car for her birthday, which they claimed was a fraudulent transfer of assets.
