“Wolverine” star Hugh Jackman is looking dramatically older than his 47 years in a new photo posted to Instagram.
Jackman appears thinner and much older than usual in his most recent snap showing him grinning over a plate of grilled fish. His latest pic has caused concerned fans to ask after his health, offering prayers for his well-being.

Hardcore X-Men fans aren’t too concerned about his appearance. Wolverine fans were quick to point out that his aged appearance may all be an illusion. Jackman has been filming the still-untitled third Wolverine movie, which follows the “Old Man Logan” storyline from the comics. Behind-the-scenes photos from the film’s production have revealed Jackman in old-age stage makeup for the film, which the actor says will be his eighth and final outing as the beleaguered X-Men character.
The deep lines and undereye circles were nowhere to be found in photos the actor posted in recent weeks.
