Wendell Pierce’s home in Baton Rouge is the latest victim of the Louisiana flood.

The 52-year-old actor shared the devastating news on Twitter.
This is not the first time Pierce has faced a tragedy such as this. 11 years ago, his childhood home was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.
Among the chaos, Pierce took time to converse with a fellow Twitter user who lost their home to the flood.

He also shared contact information for the American Red Cross and Baton Rouge Food Bank to “help the people of Louisiana.” Best of wishes to Pierce and other victims of the floods.
