Billy Bob Thornton has come out to deny claims he had an affair with Johnny Depp’s estranged wife, Amber Heard.
Thornton’s name was included in the Heard and Depp divorce saga this week when the actress claimed that Johnny accidentally cut his fingertip off during an argument his wife in March of 2015. Depp then reportedly scribble Thornton’s name on a mirror because he believed they were having an affair.
Heard and Depp co-starred in the film “London Fields” together.
Thornton has since reached out to TMZ, claiming that his reported on-set romance with Heard was “completely false” and insisted he “never socialized with Amber off set” or on set. Thornton also went on to claim that he never had “a friendship with the actress…it was all professional, on the set, and that was it.”
Thornton has been married to Connie Angland since 2014 and, according to TMZ, has reassured her that claims of an affair are false.
