Amber Heard has dropped her request for a domestic violence petition seeking a restraining order against Johnny Depp, and ET Canada can confirm the squabbling soon-to-be-exes have come to a settlement agreement in one of Hollywood’s all-time nastiest divorces.

“Amber and Johnny filed legal docs Tuesday in which Amber withdrew her request for a restraining order,” reports TMZ. “She had alleged Johnny brutalized her on May 21 but now the case is over. She dismissed the case with prejudice, meaning she can never re-file it.”

Heard’s domestic violence petition was linked to the divorce case, which was reportedly settled (according to TMZ sources) after Heard agreed to a payout of approximately $7 million.

The soon-to-be ex-couple released a joint statement: “Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love,” the pair state. “Neither party has made false accusations for financial gains.”

The statement continues: “There was never an intent of physical or emotional harm… Amber wishes the best for Johnny in the future. Amber will be donating financial proceeds from the divorce to a charity.”

Neither the amount to be donated nor the charity that will benefit, however, was specified in the statement.
