If you loved Lorde’s debut album Pure Heroine, there’s a chance you might not be prepared for what’s coming next.
In a recent interview with BBC Newsbeat, the 17-year-old pop sensation has suggested that her follow-up album isn’t likely to be a carbon copy of her mega-selling first release.

“I’m working on stuff quite tentatively, it’s definitely still at the beginning and yeah, it’s totally different,“; revealed Lorde. “I wrote the last album about that world which was the suburb where I grew up and populated by my friends and people who were really familiar to me. Now I’m in a different place every day and I’m with new people every day and it’s a different vibe.”;
Lorde also hinted that she might have a few exciting collaborations in the works.
“I do get a lot of insanely good people asking if we want to do something which is amazing and so much fun, I really enjoy collaborating,“; shared the Kiwi hitmaker.
The “Royals”; recording artist recently unveiled a fresh new slate of North American tour dates and says she has a system in place to thwart scalpers from snapping up seats for resale.
Instead of a regular ticket purchasing system, only fans that are “invited”; can purchase tickets and attend the show. Acts like Mumford & Sons have also employed this system in the past in a bid to stop fans from getting gouged by profit-minded scalpers.
Lorde acknowledged on Twitter that the process is a bit more time consuming than your average ticket buy, but it’s something that’s being done to keep fans from getting burned.
