Jared Leto hasn’t seen “Suicide Squad” yet.
The actor is reportedly so unhappy with the film, that he has yet to see the final theatrical cut. While audiences have been flocking in droves to see the critically-maligned film which has already racked up over $227 million dollar at the North American box office, Leto isn’t one of them.
The Oscar-winning actor confirmed during an interview on BBC’s Radio 5 that he hasn’t seen “Suicide Squad” yet. Leto hasn’t been hiding his feelings towards the film and its lack of scenes featuring his characer, The Joker. When a reporter from IGN asked about The Joker scenes that got cut from the movie, Leto sarcastically responded, “Were there any that didn’t get cut?”
Leto gained notoriety for his method acting, sending his castmates everything from live rats and dead hogs to used condoms. But now, he seems to be totally over his “Suicide Squad” role.
At a 30 Seconds To Mars camp-themed festival, Leto was asked if the studio heads requested he refrain from one of his favourite activities, rock climbing. “Yes,” he responded, “but my answer is ‘f*** ’em.'”
