Kanye West is no stranger at leaving people guessing what his next move will be, and the fashionista rapper is about to take an unpredictable left turn by opening up 21 pop-up stores throughout the world this weekend, all selling merchandise themed to his latest album “The Life of Pablo”.
After unloading a half-million bucks worth of “Pablo” merch at a NYC pop-up shop earlier this year, Yeezy is expanding his horizons to pop up worldwide, reports Vogue.
The plan is for three-day-only stores to open in various cities throughout the globe, including Singapore, Amsterdam and Melbourne, with precise locations to be revealed on kanyewest.com 24 hours before they open. Toronto, by the way, is the only Canadian city on Yeezy’s list.
“Each city will have its name spelled out on tees and hoodies with Cali Thornhill DeWitt’s gothic script in a myriad of bold shades reminiscent of the collection West showed at Madison Square Garden in February,” notes Vogue.
