Tom Holland is playing a superhero on the big screen, and he proved to be a real-life hero to the kids at an Atlanta children’s hospital when he paid a visit in costume as your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man.

Holland and “Spider-Man: Homecoming” co-star Jacob Batalon swung by Egleston Children hospital in Atlanta in August, and made the day of the pint-sized fans being treated at the hospital.

“Meeting you all today was such a wonderful experience and you’re all such little inspirations,” wrote Holland alongside a pic from his visit that he shared on Instagram. “We’re proud of you and we love and we hope to be back soon ❤️ and thank you for having us Egleston Children’s hospital.”

Other photos from the stars’ visit were also posted on social media, with Batalon writing: “It was amazing to meet the kids today. They inspire us and their smiles are brighter than the sun.”
