Get ready for some swingin’ new music from Michael Buble, with the pride of Burnaby, B.C. preparing to release a new album in the fall.
Titled “Nobody But Me”, Buble’s ninth studio album — his first in three years — will be released on Oct. 21 (pre-ordering the album on his website, however, will give you a free download of the title track, which is the album’s first single).
“Nobody But Me” was recorded in Los Angeles and Vancouver and includes three new Buble-penned originals along with reinventions of such classics as “My Baby Just Cares For Me”, “The Very Thought of You”, Brian Wilson’s “God Only Knows” and the Johnny Mercer classic “I Wanna Be Around”. In addition, guest artists performing on the album include Mehgan Trainor and The Roots’ Black Thought.
“I don’t know that I’ve ever had this much fun working on an album,” says Buble. “It was especially thrilling to collaborate with my band, who understand that I want to sound better than I’ve ever sounded. I’m also very proud of the new songs. Having the opportunity to co-produce was a joy for me personally.”
Fans have even more to celebrate, as a new documentary/concert film titled “Tour Stop 148” will hit theatres as a one-time event on Tuesday, Sept. 27, with the film including performances from his sold out “To Be Loved Tour” along with candid behind-the-scenes footage.

The singer will also be debuting his new women’s fragrance and performing songs from his upcoming album at a special launch event in New York City on Thursday, Aug. 24, which will stream live on Buble’s Facebook page beginning at 7 p.m. ET. The new fragrance will be available in Canada starting Sept. 9.
