It’s been awhile since most of us have heard from Sir Mix-A-Lot, whose profession that “I like big butts and I cannot lie”; formed the basis of his 1992 hip-hop hit “Baby Got Back.”;

However, attendees of Friday night’s performance by the Seattle Symphony Orchestra’s “Sonic Evolution”; program (which honours musicians from various genres) got an earful of the rap pioneer when the symphony welcomed Sir Mix-A-Lot to perform a new orchestral version of “Baby Got Back.”;

Admitting to the crowd that the performance is “something you really should not do, but since tonight is “orchestral movements from the hood night’ I’m going to leave some of this open if a couple of ladies would like to get up on the stage,”; he said. “I don’t touch. We will not bite — unless you want us to.”

As it turned out, Sir Mix-A-Lot was able to entice a number of women onstage for some classically tinged booty shaking. Take a look:
