With U.S. Presidential frontrunners Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump both facing high disapproval rates, Cooper believes he is the man for the job.

The 68-year-old musician is running with the slogan: “A Troubled Man for Troubled Times”.
You would believe the artist could muster some serious support from his fan base, but a look at his campaign website reveals he is not overly serious about the candidacy.

He calls for late Motorhead frontman Lemmy’s likeness to be added to Mount Rushmore – and for comedian Groucho Marx to be immortalized on the $50 bill. Cooper’s campaign consists of selling merchandise and reissuing his band’s 1972 song “Elected”.
The prospect of President Cooper may seem unlikely, but hey – it looks like anything is possible this election.
