Aretha Franklin has been requested by her doctor to cancel a few of her upcoming concerts.
Without giving away any details, the 74-year-old Grammy winner said in a statement, “Due to doctor’s orders I will have to cancel a few concerts for the next month or so.”

Among the cancelled performances will be a show at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall, where Franklin was scheduled to perform in honour of Tony Bennett’s 90th birthday.
The singer-songwriter notes she will be returning to perform in November.
