Connie Britton may have an early exit from “Nashville”.
The star has reportedly only signed on for 10 episodes of the 22 episode season. Executives are hopeful that Britton will extend her contract to include the season’s remaining episodes. Co-star Hayden Panetteire is on-board for the entire season. There’s no word on how the absence of Britton’s character, country superstar Rayna James, will be explained should the star not sign on for more episodes.

Even if Britton does sign on for the remaining episodes, Entertainment Weekly is speculating that this season will be the star’s last.
